For the purposes of this resource, a conference is a large gathering of students who select different workshops to attend that are hosted in different areas. Students follow different agendas.
A workshop is a gathering of students in one room, all following the same agenda. There are three different types workshops of to choose from. Mix and match or modify the workshops listed below to best suit your specific needs.

WORKSHOP OPTIONS
Student Presentations and Leadership Workshop
Choose this workshop if:
- Your goal is to get your schools planning their EcoSchool program
- You can draw from the experience of schools who are already implementing the EcoSchools program
- You have only one facilitator is available for the workshop
Ecoschools Focus Workshop
Choose this workshop if:
- Your goal is to inform new schools about the EcoSchools program
- Your goal is to have your schools plan environmental initiatives for the year
- You have a minimum of 3 facilitators available for the workshop
Communication Strategies Workshop
Choose this workshop if:
- Your goal is to develop students’ skills to implement effective environmental campaigns and strategies in their school
- You have a minimum of 3 facilitators available for the workshop
