No Garbage Can for Grade One/ Two Class at St Paul's
The grade one/two class at St Paul's has been a garbage-free class (i.e. no garbage pail) since September!

Instead of a garbage can they are reusing, recycling, and composting.

The class does not always achieve 100% litterless lunches as there are a few new children and some that need reminders, but overall the participation is high.

The kids keep a daily yes/no check on who is/isn't bringing a litterless lunch. Any garbage brought in is "boomeranged" back home

Student medium is the message!
Student work adds vibrant energy to eco-team communications, engaging peers.

Pictured to the left are student eco-pledges in the shape of footprints. This was a culminating task after students had completed an ecological footprint activity.
