New Funding Source for Environmental Initiatives
Green Apple School Program is an initiative by supermarket chain Metro that will provide $1,000 grants to primary and secondary schools to fund environmental initiatives. The projects must be linked to curriculum and schools may apply twice (for two different projects).

Submit your idea early as the grants could be awarded as soon as the end of October. It appears that as long as the project meets the eligibility criteria, grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
